This report estimates that 16% (11,200) of 3 year-olds in the Republic of Ireland have had an accident or injury requiring hospital treatment or admission. The report shows the prevalence of injuries and accidents as well as highlighting risk factors such as gender and whether a primary carer has a longstanding health condition.

This report provides an overview of progress in reducing Second Hand Smoke (SHS) exposure in Northern Ireland that incorporates the five year review of smoke-free legislation, but also extends to a consideration of SHS exposure in non-work environments.  The report considers aspects of inequalities in SHS exposure in particular according to social disadvantage and with a focus on vulnerable subgroups of the population.

This report presents data on alcohol consumption and related harms in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The report sets out a framework for considering alcohol availability, under which the current policy landscape is presented as well as evidence from nation and international studies.

The report concludes with policy implications and proposals to consolidate North South cooperation.
