The Community Development and Health Network (CDHN) work towards ending health inequalities using a community development approach. CDHN is a centre of expertise that develops best practice, advances knowledge and develops tools for action to ensure that communities can define and represent their own health needs and design and implement radical solutions.
CDHN works closely with members through its core membership services under the Pathways to Health project, funded by the Big Lottery. It also runs the Building Community Pharmacy project in partnership with the DHSSPS Pharmacy Branch. Members are supported through networking events and through Health Bytes – a monthly newsletter.
