IPH says improving public health is everyone’s business. A conference hosted by the Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH) has heard today (Tuesday, 13 October 2015) that young people taking part in the Irish Cancer Society’s X-HALE programme report improved knowledge about the dangers of smoking. Since 2011, The X-HALE programme has supported young people in making smoking prevention films and completing community action projects to share the harmful effects of smoking with their peers.
